Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to the Pocketlid apps for Mac and mobile, the Pocketlid website and related services (the “Service”), provided by a sole proprietorship based in Türkiye (“Pocketlid”, “we”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Pocketlid lets you view and control your own Mac from your phone. Some features depend on your Mac’s settings, macOS permissions, your network and your plan. During the beta, features may change and the Service may be interrupted.

Your account

You need an account to use Pocketlid. Keep access to your email and your devices secure, and remove lost devices from your account promptly. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access a computer you don’t own or aren’t authorized to use;
  • use the Service to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to our systems;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.

Plans, trials and payments

Pocketlid offers a free plan and paid plans. Prices are shown before you buy and may change; announced prices may change before launch. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store’s terms, including its refund rules. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and design, belongs to Pocketlid or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps under these terms. Pocketlid uses open-source components under their own licenses.

Third-party services

Pocketlid relies on third parties such as app stores and infrastructure providers. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Pocketlid isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make Pocketlid reliable, but the Service is provided “as is”. Remote access depends on factors outside our control, such as networks, power and macOS behavior — for example, a Mac that is shut down can’t be woken remotely. To the extent permitted by law, we don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.

Ending the Service

You can stop using Pocketlid and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we discontinue the Service, we’ll give reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will let you know about significant changes in advance. Questions? Email support@pocketlid.com.
