Delete your Pocketlid account

You can delete your account and its data at any time — in the Android app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app.

In the Android app

Open Pocketlid on your phone and make sure you’re signed in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings.
In the account section at the top, tap Delete account.
Confirm with Delete.

Your account is deleted right away and every Mac and phone on it is signed out. This can’t be undone.

Without the app

Email us from your account’s email address with the subject below. We’ll check that the account is yours, delete it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.

On a Mac

The Mac app doesn’t delete your account. Settings › Account › Remove from account… only removes that Mac from your account; your account and your other devices stay.

What gets deleted

Your account: your email address, your name if your sign-in provider shared one, your language and the sign-in methods linked to it.
All linked devices: the names, types and public keys of every Mac and phone on the account.
Sessions: all sessions and refresh tokens, so every device is signed out.
Your license record: your trial, plan and expiry date.

What may be kept

Purchase records: Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat keep records of purchases as required by law and tax rules. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription — cancel it in Google Play first.
Anonymous usage statistics: daily totals of which features are used. They were never linked to your account, so they can’t be traced back to you.
Crash reports: technical error reports without account details. They can’t be tied to you, and Sentry deletes them automatically after a limited time.
Backups and support emails: deleted records can remain in our database provider’s automatic backups for up to 30 days. Emails you sent to support are kept only as long as needed; ask and we’ll delete them too.

On your devices

Data stored only on your devices — such as connection history, settings and a saved Mac password — stays there until you uninstall Pocketlid.

Beta waitlist

The beta waitlist is separate from your account. To leave it, use the link in any beta email or write to support@pocketlid.com.
